We believe that there is a lot we could do given the rapid development of technology and easy access to information. In western countries, the mental health industry has been well developed by several market leaders. Some key representatives are Headspace and Calm, who have dominated the 1st and 2nd places in the wellness category by revenue on App Store, according to stats in 2018. To complete the missing gap in Asia and move further in the industry, Void combines the knowledge from mindfulness meditation with technology on mobile apps and smart wearables. We have designed various mini-games and meditation audio programs to help people get through their everyday stress. Our vision is to create a self-help tools for stress citizens able to help themselves using our app anytime and anywhere. Our current customer are major from Hong Kong and Macau using Cantonese language and we plan to develop Mandarin language and expand promotion to APAC countries in three years. Job Description As a designer, you will play a key role in delivering illustration elements for Void on both online to offline platform. It mainly focuses on the following aspects: UI/UX Design on Void App Illustration on social media Marketing materials You will work directly with our founder to organize and implement marketing activities both online and offline with your design input. The role also requires communications with product development team to keep track of in-app data development for users. Responsibilities: Perform design, development, and implementation of iOS / Android mobile applications Perform marketing strategic planning with marketing team Involve in video editing, shooting when needed Communicate closely with the team to conduct business requirements analysis Work closely with other members to brainstorm new ideas and optimize the mobile app Requirements: Passion in innovation, start-ups; Passionate about creating value in mental health industry and society Proactive and Self-motivated; You can come fresh but willing to learn and improve, thus, a fast learner Team player and able to work collaboratively; Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese Diploma/Degree Students in Interactive Design/creative media (Preferred) Knowledge in photography/video editing is a plus; Knowledge in mobile app UI/UX design is a plus; Expected use of tools includes but not limited to: Canva Photoshop InDesign Premiere Pro Logic Pro We highly value every member of our team and believe that the values we create for the society would show up on ourselves as well.
