Job Description

Archireef is a climate technology startup that provides eco-engineering solutions for ocean ecosystems restoration. We restore degraded marine ecosystems like coral reefs by designing structures from nature-based materials. By combining expertise in marine biology and the latest technologies in 3D printing techniques and material science, we create artificial habitats that are best suited for threatened marine life. We co-created the world’s first artificial reef structure 3D-printed in terracotta with the biomimicry adaptive design for the purpose of coral restoration. With our proprietary algorithm - our reef tiles can be adapted to any local environment for any marine life. Sustainability is not just about restoration, but also creating a community who is passionate about the ocean and driving a positive loop in marine education. At Archireef, education is about spreading the values we pursue in restoring marine ecosystems around the world. We’re now looking for an Assistant Education Officer who is eager to promote ocean literacy and spread our values and conservation messages to more people. This position will assist in developing education materials, creating promotional materials as well as delivering workshops and outreach activities for school, corporate and public engagement. If you love the rewarding challenge of establishing efficiency in uncharted territory, we want to hear from you.
